IKCOE Provost warns newly admitted students

The provost of Isa Kaita college of education Dutsin-Ma Dr. Maigari Abdu has warned the newly admitted students against engaging into social vices that will tarnish the college.

The provost gave the warning at 2016/17 academic session for NCE I matriculation ceremony held at the college auditorium on Thursday.

“All students must succumb to the rules and regulations governing the college as drug abuse, cultism, exam malpractice, theft and cooking with gas stoves in dormitories will never be tolerated.” He said

Dr. Maigari however congratulate the newly admitted students and urged them to be of good character and hard work for academic excellence.

He commended the effort of the state governor Aminu Bello Masari for improving the college standard in teaching and learning environment as well as the renovation of the recently gutted female hostel in the college.

About 2509 NCE 1 students were admitted to the college for the 2016/2017 academic session.
