A rather surprising information reaching us at KATSINA POST has it that three (3) ‘Igbo’ names appeared in the shortlisted candidates that scored 35 and above marks in Zango Local Government area in the just pasted written examination result conducted by the Katsina State Executive Council Committee on staff vacancies at the State Secondary and Primary schools.

These three (3) names according to the information we got are Ilounah Emmanuel T who scored 41 marks, Martin Chigbu who scored 40 and Akpan Mathew Omene who scored 37.

Zango Local Government is in Daura Senatorial zone of Katsina State and majority of its habitants are either Hausa or Fulani.

It could be recalled that the Katsina State Executive Council Committee on staff vacancies at the State Secondary and Primary schools conducted an aptitude test in earlier in February this year in respect to the Governor Aminu Masari’s directives that 1900 teachers be recruited.

Sequel to that, names of successful candidates that sat for the aptitude test and scored 35 marks and above were pasted in all the 34 local governments of the State.

  1. Certainly this is the change that we voted for as the aptitude test were marked without any political affiliation, most of the participants that score higher mark are the sons of NO BODY .this indicates that the aptitude test were marked best on merit, as were directed by His excellency Right Hon. Aminu bello masari .
However in the case of what was happened at ZANGO LG. let the committee replace the non Indigine to the indegine ones, as it’s contrary to the normal culture of the exercise.
However am urging the low makers that don’t turn justice to injustice because all the eyes of Katsina state people are on them
#may almighty Allah help our humble governor guide him &protect him reward him abundantly make him victorious to his enemies #Long lyf Katsina state #

  2. @ nura umar A bakori, that d commitee should replace d non indigene with indigene?that is selfish and tribalism, united we stand, divided we fall, are we no longer one Nigeria?try to emulate d teaching of d Holy prophet (Sallalahu alaihi wassalam).

    1. we are talking about the state vacancies not federal my friend!! and in any state ,in Nigeria an indigen most upper any kind of assistance first in his state than non indigen

  3. Katsina Law Makers or Law Breakers?
Prior to the cancellation of the screening of original credentials for the successful candidates of the long planned recruitment of the teacher across Katsina State, it’s obvious that Katsina law maker are more than willing to play politics and distort the well arranged criteria set by the ministry of education for the recruitment. Because of one simple reason, which is: the slots were not shared to them to bring their dear political thugs into Katsina schools to teach as usual.
Let me remind this law so called Law Makers that those political thugs alone can’t reelect you into your offices again. Also, those talented masses that passed the examination will never forget what you did to them, I.e how became a barrier between them and getting employed. They will consequently do all they can vote for those who will stand for justice, fair play and all what’s right for this state. At the end I pray: may Allah protect us from your evil acts.
