
Police arrests 2 over brutal murder of two children in Yammawa quarters, Katsina
Katsina state police command has arrested two persons in connection to the brutal killings of two children in Yammawa Quarters of Katsina metropolis.
Briefing newsmen in the state, the Commissioner of Police Usman Abdullahi named the suspects as Mallam Salisu Suleiman of Yammawa area, Katsina and Mallam Ahmed Aminu from Bauchi state.
He said, they are believed to have connived and killed the children belonging to one Rabiu Suleiman of Yammawa quarters Katsina state.
According to Dailytrust, they said the Commissioner of Police said: “The body of first deceased one Muhammadu Muyassiru 6yrs old was found wrapped inside leather mat in the house were one Mallam Ahmed Aminu ‘M’ of Bauchi was residing as a guest to Mallam Salisu Suleiman’ he said
However, the other deceased Muhammadu Muhulisu ‘M’ 6yrs old, went missing and his burnt corpse was later found on 12/04/2017 at about 1445hrs, at the outskate of Kofar Sauri qrts Katsina with some of his body parts cut off.”
He said, Suspects have been arrested and investigation is in progress and will soon be charged to court.
