Katsina state Government is to partner with Dangote group of companies in the investments of agro-allied company in the state. This was disclosed by the state deputy Governor also the commissioner of agriculture Mannir Yakubu at a stakeholders meeting with the management of Dangote group of companies held at Government house Katsina.
The deputy governor said the meeting was aimed at improving agricultural business investments to be offered by Dangote Group of companies involving rice, sugarcane, wheat and tomato production.
According to him the forum is also part of the initiatives to invite private sectors in Agriculture with a view to achieve food security in the state.
In a remark, the leader of the management of Dangote Group company Engr Mansur Ahmad said the company have planed to establish integrated rice mills in the state as it did in Jigawa and Zamfara state. Also, the company will invest in the areas of production and processing of rice, wheat, soyabean and Tomato amongst others.
