It could be recalled that in August last year, Operators of conventional private schools operating in temporary sites in Katsina State has been urged to speed-up their relocation to permanent sites within the stipulated time frame given to them.

The State Universal Basic Education, SUBEB, Alhaji Lawal Buhari Daura made this known during the annual speech and price giving day ceremony conducted by Mariamoh Ajiri Memorial school in Daura local government.

The SUBEB chairman who was also the chairman of the occasion stated that earlier this year, the state governor Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has given a 2-years ultimatum to private schools operating in their temporary sites to speed-up their relocation to permanent sites. He added that, gone are those days that the state government will turn a blind-eye to the ‘room and parlour’ private schools and their managements operating in the state.
