Katsina: Last batch of intending pilgrims airlifted
Airlift of intending pilgrims from Katsina State has been completed. The Executive Director of the state pilgrims welfare board Alhaji Muhammad Abu Rimi stated this in his office.
The E.D. stated that the remaining a little over 200 intending pilgrims have been screened and airlifted yesterday. He said the last batch of the intending pilgrims airlifted are from Dutsin-ma, Malumfashi and Kankia local governments.
It could be recalled that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria allocated a total of 4564 hajj seats to Katsina State for this year’s hajj exercise.
