The senator representing Funtua senatorial zone in the national assembly Sen. Abu Ibrahim has been alleged to have padded the 2016 Nigeria police budget to the tune of six billion Naira N6b as reported by Sahara Reporters.
Sahara Reporters -an online news medium known largely for whistle blowing and exposing corrupt practices in Nigeria reported in a series of tweets by its twitter official handle and facebook page stated that the senator being the chairman of the senate committee on Police affairs and Stella Oduah being the Vice chairperson of the said committee padded the budget.
Sahara Reporters stated that “FLASH: Sen Abu Ibrahim is Chair and Stella Odua is V. Cahir of Comm. on Police Affairs of the senate padded the budget.”
The online media outlet further supported what its reported with the budget document. They also alleged that Senator Abu Ibrahim has collected a Prado Jeep from the former retired IG Solomon Arase.
