Masari charges Katsina Hausa-Fulani Christians on applying for state’s job vacancies

Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has encouraged the Katsina Hausa-fulani Christians in the state to be enrolling is schools and applying for uniform jobs opportunities in the state.

The Governor made this statement when he received the Association Hausa-fulani Christians, Katsina State Chapter led by Reverend Audu Bagwai in his office at Muhammadu Buhari House.

According to the Governor, many vacancies exists in military and para military fields in the country to be field by the indegens of the state.

The Governor also pointed out that such vacancies are being taken over by some other non-indegens.

He then promised to look into the requests forwarded by the association.

Earlier, the leader of the association delegates, Rev. Audu Bagwai acknowledged the efforts of the present administration for the provision of fertiliser to the fermers.

The Reverend further requested for representation in religious affairs, airtime on state-owned media and admissions slots in the states’ health institutions among others.

 

In a related development news, the association of ‘sha’irai led by her leader Alhaji Rabi’u Usman Baba also visited the Governor on a courtesy call in his office.

During their visit, the association also requested for a land in the state in order to build a secretariat.

To this regard, the Governor asked the association to liaise with the commissioner of Land and Survey.
