Intending pilgrims in Mashi local government area have been warned against absenteeism during the three weeks sensitization workshop organized for Hajj Exercise. The head of the local government administration Alhaj Ya’u Musa Duwan issued the warning when he launch the workshop. He urged the intending pilgrims to be attentive throughout the duration of the exercise which is aimed at acquainting them with the basic concept of the pilgrimage. Ya’u Musa however urged them to be good ambassadors of the area and state while at home and in the holy land.
In a remark, the Hajj officer of the area Malam Sale Halidu said only intending pilgrims that attained 70% attendance of the workshop will be allowed to perform the exercise. He however urged them to pray for peace and development prevailed in the state and the nation at large.
The district head of Mashi (Iyan Katsina) who was represented by Garba Galadima appreciated the state Government for its concern to Islamic activities.
