Katsina NDLEA Seized 3700 Indian hemp, As Emir Pledges More Support to the Agency

The Emir of Katsina DR Abdulmuni Kabir Usman warned youths to shun thuggery and drug abuse. The emir made the call after inspecting huge quantity of Indian hemp and other drugs seized by NDLEA Katsina office. DR Abdulmuminu Kabir Usman expressed dismay on such attitudes which married women are also engage in such behavior. He advises parents to monitor the activities of their children especially nurturing them both Islamic and western education. The emir said the problem of drug abuse is a very serious issue that can drone the society into trouble; as he charges the general public and other stakeholders to put hands on deck toward eradicating the menace.

The NDLEA Katsina commandant Hajiya Maryam Gambo Sani said the agency has seized 3700 indian hemp including tramadol, cough syrup and other drugs from suppliers of drugs illegally. The commandant expresses commitment toward eradicating such acts in the state as she solicited for emir’s supports and cooperation toward the success of the agency.
