Non-Academic Staff Union of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University Accuses the University Management For Misconducts, Writes Letter To The State Governor.
The non-academic staff union of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University has accused the management of the institution trying to prostrate its members in an open letter address to the state Governor Aminu Bello Masari and made available to newsmen. The union said the university is engaging in covered mood to prostrate the promotion of its members and denied them opportunity to benefit from staff training. According to the letter jointly signed by the chairman of the union Ahmad Rabiu Kankia and secretary Mannir Sani there was no training scheme for its members despite Government’s fund released of quarterly grand of 62.5 million naira. The union also claimed the University for recruiting staff without adhering to laid-down rules and regulations, because some geopolitical areas of the state were given in due advantage over others.
