
Katsina: Over N700million Spent ‘So Far’ On Environmental Sanitation -Commissioner
Over N700million has been spent by the Katsina State government on environment matters. The Katsina state governor -Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari disclosed this while opening a two-day workshop for religious clerics and other stakeholders organised by State Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) held at the katsina state secretariat conference hall.
The Governor who was represented by the commissioner for environment -Alhaji Hamza Sulaiman said since the inception of the current administration, the state has provided pit latrine at market places, motor parks, motor garages and other refuse containers as well as fumigation exercise across the state.
The commissioner also assured the participants of government commitments while also charging them to use all the possible avenues to sensitize their followers toward a clean and healthy state.
