The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State has urged the Masari’s led administration to assist the needy with food items to ease their hardship in this blessed month of ramadan.
The new chairman of the party in the state -Alhaji Salisu Yusuf Majigiri made the appeal shortly after inaugurating the members of the party at the party’s secretariat in Katsina.
He said the call has been necessary in view of the current economic hardship in the country and the state in particular. Alhaji Majigiri also calls on the government to offer the help to every citizen of the state in need irrespective of his/her party affiliation.
He new PDP chairman also lamented the delay of the payment of workers salaries in the state which he said has complicated the situation for the masses in the state.
Alhaji Salisu also lamented the level at which the Masari’s APC led administration resort to securing bank loans ‘anyhow’ where he said the current administration has so far secured the loan of about N30billion with nothing to show as justification to it in terms of social interventions or infrastructural development.
