Masari Achieved In 1 Year More Than What Shema Achieved In 8 Years – Katsina APC Chairman

Achievements of Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari within the last one year dwarfed eight years of his predecessor, Ibrahim Shema, Katsina StateAll Progressives Congress (APC) chairman, Shitu S. Shitu has said.Speaking on the occasion of the nation’s Democracy Day celebration and the one year anniversary of current APC administration in the state, Shitu said Governor Masari achieved more with little resources  compared to his predecessor.“In the final year of his administration, Shema received N97 billion. But Masari, in the last one year, received N34 billion yet what he did ranging from rehabilitation of schools, water, health and agriculture, Shema did not do them in his eight year rule”.He said if the party had the type ofopportunity the previous administration had, “Katsina would have been like London by now”.He insisted that the party and indeed residents of the state are proud  of the government’s journey so far stressing that the administration  touched all the local governments in different sectors.Shitu noted that the current administration has unchained local government councils as according to him “the government does not interfere with the finances of local government areas”.
