The Katsina State Commissioner for Works, Housing and  Transports, Alhaji Tasiu Dahiru, has on Thursday (5th May) in Katsina while briefing newsmen on the activities of the ministry disclosed that the government had revoked 76 housing allocation awarded by the previous administration.

Dahiru said that 26 allocations were allocated in Abuja, while the remaining 50 were in Katsina.

The commissioner explained that the houses were  not allocated in accordance with the law.

Dahiru further said that the state needed to construct 70,000 additional houses for the citizenry.

According to him, the government will join hands with Private Partners to make shelter available and affordable for people of the state.

He urged the people to continue to support the administration’s policies which, he said, were aimed  at moving the state forward and improving their  living condition.
