
Buhari’s Visit: Gov Masari Called on Katsinawa To ‘Behave Responsibly’
Katsina state governor, Aminu Masari, has called on the people of the state to exhibit high sense of responsibility, good manners and behavioural discipline as President Muhammadu Buhari commence state visit.
Speaking with newsmen ahead of the President visit, Masari said the visit is purely non – partisan and therefore enjoined people irrespective of political affiliation to show respect and regards to a visiting president who is also an indigene of the state.
According to him, the culture and religion of the people of the state harps on respect for leaders saying that “Katsina in known for its hospitality and respect to all, we should adhere to it.”
Meanwhile renovation and beautification of major structures have started to give the state a new look .
It was observed that painting and repainting of major roundabouts, side walks are on top gear, just as security personnel have been stationed all over the town.
President Buhari is expected in katsina on friday for private visit to Daura and will commence the official state visit from Monday were he is expected to declare open the state economic and Investment summit.
