Katsina state government has berated government regulatory agencies  for unnecessary bureaucracy that has led to the un completion of its 10 mega watts wind mill power project.

Governor Aminu Masari who was speaking when he received the executive secretary of Nigeria Investment Promotion Council, Mrs Ladi S. Katagum said the project have been lying idle for almost three years despite reaching about 95 percent completion.

He said, Government is spending about one million naira on Monthly basis to Provide security to the abandoned project which could have help tremendously in addressing power challenges in the state. He stressed the need for a change of attitude from concern authorities to enable the state  derive maximum benefits from Project aimed at improving the well being of the people. Earlier, the executive secretary of Nigeria Investment Promotion Council, Mrs Ladi S. Katagum promised that the commission will continue to work on modalities to promote and attract Investment to Nigeria saying that the new mandate of the commission is to promote non Oil Sector with agriculture, power, solid minerals and manufacturing as priority.
