One Manu (Usman) Umar who is a staff of federal university Dutsin-ma in the ICT department is currently in police custody in Katsina for killing his wife -Fatima Ibrahim.
Preliminary investigations confirmed that he (Manu Umar) killed his wife over an argument on her inherited properties.
The uncle of the decease, Alh Muntari Habibu Dutsin-ma said the said murderer was in her house on that penultimate night of 1st April up till 12:00am where he killed her.
The decease body was found to have signs of beatings and a broken hand.
The suspect was arrested in Dutsin-ma and later transferred to the Police headquarters in Katsina for further investigation.
