Katsina: National Orientation Agency (NOA) Organised Workshop On Dangers of Corruption in MANI LG
A sensitization workshop on the dangers of corruption has been organised by the Katsina State Office of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Mani Local Government. The state Director of the agency Alhaji Haruna Armaya’au Liti Rimaye said the workshop was aimed at enlightening the general public on the negative effect of corruption. He also emphasised the importance of respecting and offering good prayers to leaders in order to achieve the desired objectives.
The director maintained that corruption has been impacting negatively on the socio-economic development of the nation since its inception.
In the remark of the Head of the LG administration -Alhaji Salisu Musa Daura, called on people of the area and the state at large to be supportive to the current administration’s programs. Also speaking the representative of the Director Personnel Management, Alhaji Murtala Abu and the Sarkin Gabas (District Head of Mani) Alhaji Umar Babani Isah Mani charged youth to be responsible members of the society.
KATSINA POST reliably gathered that the workshop was attended by various NGOs and stakeholders across the state.
